I am forever walking upon these shores,
Betwixt the sand and the foam,
The high tide will erase my foot-prints,
And the wind will blow away the foam.
But the sea and the shore will remain Forever

ಮರಳಮಾರಿಗೆ ನೊರೆಯ ಮಂದಸಿಂಚನ
ಹೆದ್ದೆರೆಯು ಹೀರಿರಲು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾ ಗುರುತು
ತಂಪೆಲರು ತಾಗುತಲೆ ತೆರೆಯು ಹಿಂಜರಿತು
ಕಡಲಿನೊಡಲಿಗೆ ತೀರದೊಲುಮೆಯ ಸ್ಪಂದನ
ಇದುವೆ ನಿತ್ಯ ನೂತನ. ಚಿರಂತನ! ಜೀವನ!

A couple of corrections:
1. It is not Khalil, it is Kahlil.
2. The correct way to say his last name is 'ಜಿಬ್ರಾನ್', not 'ಗಿಬ್ರಾನ್'.
